The Federal Ombudsman and the Financial Ombudsman signed an Agreement on Cooperation

On March 23, Tatyana Moskalkova, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, signed an Agreement on Cooperation with Financial Ombudsman Yuri Voronin.

The document provides for the unification of efforts aimed at observing and restoring the violated rights of consumers of financial services.

Under the Agreement, the parties will develop interaction aimed at legal education in the field of financial services, raising public awareness of their rights and strengthening citizens' confidence in the mechanisms for pre-trial settlement of disputes with financial organizations.

The main task of the financial ombudsman is to help citizens and financial organizations resolve monetary disputes without bringing the case to court.
