Pamfilova helps Sentsov in confirming his Ukrainian citizenship

Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Ella Pamfilova helps director Oleg Sentsov, who had been detained on suspicion of preparing terrorist attacks in Crimea, confirm his Ukrainian citizenship.

Ms Pamfilova announced that at her press conference at the Interfax news agency. According to her, the problem is extremely complicated, since a lot of tangled elements take place in the case.

In February, Moscow City Court found the custody of the Ukrainian director Oleg Sentsov till 11 April lawful. Investigation into the criminal case has been extended till 28 April.
